Santosha studio is very pleased to be able to introduce Qigong to our schedule from April and for those of you who would like to give it go we are offering the first session at an introductory price.
​
Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is a gentle movement practice rooted in Chinese tradition. It combines slow, flowing movements, breath awareness and mindful intention to cultivate and balance our energy. Many of us spend our days living in our heads — thinking, planning, worrying, reacting. Qigong offers a simple, practical way to shift that pattern. Through unhurried movement and steady breathing, we begin to listen inwardly. We reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms and its quiet, steady intelligence. In practical terms, it’s a way to:
Release tension
Calm the nervous system
Improve balance and mobility
Feel more grounded and present in our bodies
You don’t need flexibility, experience or a particular level of fitness. Movements can be adapted for all bodies, and the focus is on awareness rather than performance. Expect to leave class feeling calmer, clearer and more connected to yourself.
