Teacher Training Course
Explore the History and Philosophy of Pilates, learn about the Application of Pilates to access our fascial system, Body Reading, tactical cueing and receive Classical Pilates training on the full range of equipment and on the mat.

Equipment Training
Master the use of various pilates equipment including Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair, ped-i-pull, Baby Chair, Spine Corrector, Barrels, Ladder Barrel, Magic Circle, and Foot Corrector.

Mat work Training
Learn the original 34 Original Pilates Matwork exercises whilst embracing knowledge and understanding of the fascial system.

Private & Observed Teaching Sessions
Personalised private teaching sessions under observation from Fiona McIntosh and visiting teachers Rafael Dominguez & Joachim Schultz.

Course Format
The Course will be taught over a series of long weekends Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
20 hours each weekend. Plan to set aside 18 months to certify.

Course Overview
This course will be an in-depth approach to Classical Pilates education but with a fascial perspective which enhances the relationship you form with the equipment. The work will be presented in 3 levels; Basic, Intermediate and Advance across all equipment.

Course Requirements
The course is designed for those who are already teachers who want to enhance their teaching skills or for those Pilates practitioners who just want to develop their knowledge. Preferrably you have been practising Pilates on a regular basis for over 6 months either mat work or using Studio apparatus.
Concessions will be made for experienced Yogis who would like to extend their movement repertoire.

Certification Requirements

Completed 120 hours of face-to-face teaching

Completed 250 hrs of self-practice

Completed 10 hours instructed observation
-
10 hours of recorded teaching practice
-
30 hours of self-study
-
Attended 30 hours of classes, workshops or 1:1 sessions
-
Passed 3 tests at 30hr, 60hr, 90hr of training
-
Passed final practical exam
