The spring equinox is a good time to consider how we go about creating a balanced life, as it is the moment when the length of the day and night are equal. There is so much excitement, anticipation and new growth that comes with the season of spring. It is the time of the year that symbolises the reawakening of life.

After almost a year of lockdowns and restrictions we want to nourish ourselves with that energy and grow new beginnings in our new normal. At the same time, we all know about the phenomenon of the “Spring fatigue” – so it is all about the balance in our activities.

The element of the season is wood. Wood rules the health of your spine, limbs and joints, and represents growth and flexibility.  It creates our mental clarity and our ability to plan and to make decisions. We will focus on the liver & gall bladder meridian. Such a practice can free us of frustrations, anger and impulsivity and permits us to become more decisive, dedicated, compassionate and kind with ourselves and others.

Curious? Please come along and explore a nourishing Yin practice, with guided meditation and short variation of Yoga Nidra.
