What is a Cuddle Workshop?

A warming, welcoming, nurturing space, to stop, relax, release tension, and exhale, into deep connection with ourselves and others.

Each workshop is different and beautiful.

This is not a dating event. Cuddle workshops are opportunities to enjoy fun, connection, community, and platonic physical touch, with new friends, in a safe, supportive environment.

We start with an opening circle. A time for introductions, agreements, and clarity.

The first half of the workshop allows us to relax, laugh, and develop trust with relative strangers. The focus is on understanding how you feel and how to protect your boundaries. You will learn to identify and name your needs, desires, and boundaries, accept your right to say, ‘No’, ‘Yes’, ‘Pause’, or ‘Stop’, and practice listening and negotiating.

In the second half, we create a warm, caring, consensual space. Together we share the healing power of touch, asking for what we want or wish to offer. This is the time for hand holding, eye gazing, shoulder massage, hair stroking, being a small or big spoon, hugs, cuddles, and snuggles, in pairs, small groups, or even in one large snuggle puddle.

Suzanne is a qualified cuddle practitioner with a desire to bring healing touch into the lives of everyone. She has a warmth that will instantly put you at ease and an interest in people that is evident in all that she does. Suzanne wants to bring something new to the community of Chippenham that will allow like-minded people to connect and build something meaningful. She is passionate about the need for more education on consent and boundaries in a society where people are increasingly isolated through a reliance on computers and social media. Suzanne is trauma aware and aims to create safe spaces where people can learn to trust in the touch and community of those around them. As well as running cuddle workshops, Suzanne offers 1:1 cuddle sessions.

Safety Agreements

This is a safe space. To ensure this please:

1. Arrive clean and scent free. Some of us are sensitive to perfume and scents.

2. Drug and Alcohol free. Please stay sober.

3. Confidentiality. Please only speak about your own personal experiences outside of the cuddle workshops.

4. Be yourself. Nervous, excited, happy, sad, grieving. LGBTQI+. You are welcome.

5. Non-sexual space. No touching of bikini area spaces. No kissing.

6. Consent. Always ask before you touch someone and wait for their ‘Yes’.

7. Boundaries. There are explicit boundaries at these workshops. Anyone who breaks explicit agreements will be asked to leave. In Addition: We ask that you protect your own boundaries. Say ‘Yes’ only when you are sure of your ‘Yes’. Otherwise use ‘No’. If at any time something no longer feels comfortable, use ‘Stop’. Respect someone’s ‘No’ and ‘Stop’.
