online Mum and Baby yoga for recovery

Tuesdays from 11.00 - 11.45pm

The arrival of a new baby is a precious and life changing experience that is full of amazing discoveries.

Mum and baby get to know each other and build a strong bond that to carry with them throughout their lives.

 

This course offers the time for mum to recover from childbirth whilst being able to develop the strong mum and baby connection. Sessions will include a yoga practice designed to strengthen and recover the body after pregnancy as well as having time to relax and enjoy gentle touch with your baby.

 

Please bring with you a blanket to lay your baby on along with a couple of toys for them to play with during the session. 

 

*Suitable for babies from 10 weeks to the stage of walking and after your 6 week check.

** If you had a C-Section, please consult with your midwife or doctor before joining the course.

Online prenatal yoga

Mondays from 7.30-8.45pm

4 weeks, £22.00 or £6.00 single session drop in (FIRST CLASS FREE for New Clients)

Pregnancy is a unique and wondrous time in life. Prenatal yoga can be a great way to prepare for child birth. Yoga can help expectant moms get through their pregnancy with minimal discomfort. It also helps the birth and pt-delivery stages.

In this class you will learn gentle stretching, safe breathing exercises and deep relaxation. Open to all from the 13th week of pregnancy - please check with your doctor or midwife before commencing yoga practice.

Remember that you are entitled to time off work to attend a prenatal yoga class. If you are more than 36 weeks pregnant then you can drop into the class subject to space being available - call or email to check.

A course designed with your back in mind. This course brings in elements of Yoga, Pilates, somatics, fascial unwinding and breath work to create space and restore movement in the spine, strengthen your back and core muscles and give you overall greater flexibility.

Online Baby massage

Fridays from 12.15-1.00pm

24th July - 14th August

4 weeks, £24

Baby massage is a great way to express love, care and respect with your new baby. Communicating with your baby through touch has been shown to have many benefits to parent-child attachment, relationship as well as the baby's development. Baby massage develops a strong bond that is practiced with your baby and not 'to' your baby. It involves gentle stroke, soft touch and caress over your baby's skin.

Benefits to baby massage:

  • Relaxes your baby

  • Enhances bonding

  • Aids growth and development

  • Promotes communication

  • Improve sleep patterns

  • Offers relaxation for both baby and parent

  • Aids wind,colic and constipation

 

Max number of attendees is 8.
