Yin Yoga invites us to meet our inner resistance and shows us how to find a place of comfort in a not-so-comfortable place as well as noticing our thoughts and reactions from a perspective of calmness.

It contains endless wisdom on how to live a rich and rewarding life as well as how to enhance your daily practice. For yoga teachers,The Gita is an authoritative resource that will help you structure your classes and guide your students on how to take their practice to a deeper level.


The workshop will present a concise overview of the Bhagavad-Gita in a way that makes it understandable and accessible to everyone. No prior knowledge of the subject is required to gain great value and benefit from the presentation. Michael will give you an easy to follow map of the subject, focusing on key yoga philosophy tools that can be incorporated to vitalise your daily practice.

Learn to Love Backbends

Backbends can feel wonderful, they create space to free the breath, are the perfect antidote to hours spent hunched over a computer screen and can be tremendously energising. However, for some they can feel emotionally or physically challenging.


In this 2.5 hour workshop we will learn about the spine, why we backbend, and how to do so safely, confidently and with control.

We will explore the fundamental alignment principles and muscle actions that form the basis of all backbends. Study several poses in depth with beginner to advanced variations for each. As well as learning how to use props and modifications to deepen poses in a way that suits your body.


Open yourself up for your most comfortable, expansive and invigorating backbends ever!
