Back by popular demand and taking it to the next level.


This workshop provides an opportunity for students of all levels to dive deep into the musculature of refining yoga poses. Take a step out from the regular flow of a normal class and rewind back to the foundations of a pose. 

A wide variety of pose categories will be covered from hip openers to inversions.

Refining poses help strengthen and lengthen the muscles and will support your practice with proper alignment.

Explanation and definition will be given to the Sanskrit terms of Sthira and Sukha; the foundation to every single Yoga pose.

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing from south India where it is regarded as a sister science to Yoga. It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay lively while realising their full human potential.


Maybe you have heard about Ayurveda before, but you didn’t know exactly what it is? You may be curious about Ayurveda, but haven’t had a chance to learn about it? You may be concerned about your health and beauty in your everyday life, or you may want to lose or gain weight. You may have skin problems, constipation, poor circulation, insomnia, and so on. You may have tried many things that people have recommended to improve your problem, but nothing has really worked.

This may be because you don’t know your innate constitution and the effect it has on your wellbeing. Learn about yourself through Ayurveda and improve your physical and mental condition.


This workshop is for you to learn basic Ayurveda. You will find out about the ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet and behaviour that will help you to live long, and keep your mind, body and spirit happy, healthy and beautiful. You will also learn Ayurvedic daily leg massage and the use of special Ayurvedic oils for different constitutions.

with this backbend discovery workshop.

As we have busy lives, we forget how to communicate, connectand love ourselves and others. As many of us spend a lot of time sat in front of computers, we often develop bad posture.
Learning how to connect to and open our heart space, is a great way of stepping away from our busy minds and finding a deeper connection to our innate selves.

In this workshop, we will learn how to lengthen and find space in the spine, allowing us to open our hearts. We will explore different ways of doing this, from gentle to advanced through a variety of poses, sequences and pranayama.

A slow flow, soul excavation workshop based around the Kosha’s; a traditional yogic philosophy concept that describes the 5 layers of being. The workshop will include floor-based sequences to spend time unravelling your layers, followed by stronger and more traditional flow style poses but with a new approach. The session will then finish with Yoga Nidra to reflect through your layers and come to the core; your heart.


Claire Murphy is also the Founder of Santosha Studio.


Claire Murphy Bio
Claire Murphy, Senior YAP yoga teacher, iRest meditation teacher and wellness advocate, has been a student and teacher of the practice for nearly 18 years. Rooted in science, real life, natural approaches to healing and the wisdom teachings of yoga philosophy, her teaching is deep and multifaceted. The passage of time and the perspective that brings, along with self study and self acceptance has meant her practice and her approach to life has changed and adapted to meet ever-shifting circumstances. No longer the 30 year old bendy youngster she was when she started, her practice and teaching now honours the older body and relishes in the juiciness of a deeply enquiring, honestly welcoming approach. There is nothing to achieve just a fullness to retrieve.
