108 Sun Salutations to welcome the New Year!
The number 108 has many interpretations but has been a sacred number to Yoga and Hindu traditions for centuries. Mala beads contain 108 beads used to repeat a mantra 108 times. The number 108 is viewed as the wholeness of existence, in yoga there are 108 Upanishads and 108 Marma points; sacred places of the body.


In this workshop we will be creating a sun salutation mala. Including 108 rounds of Sun Salutations, using the repetition to cleanse the mind, body and self and invite your whole existence to be present in welcoming the new year.

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing from south India where it is regarded as a sister science to Yoga. It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay lively while realising their full human potential.


Maybe you have heard about Ayurveda before, but you didn’t know exactly what it is? You may be curious about Ayurveda, but haven’t had a chance to learn about it? You may be concerned about your health and beauty in your everyday life, or you may want to lose or gain weight. You may have skin problems, constipation, poor circulation, insomnia, and so on. You may have tried many things that people have recommended to improve your problem, but nothing has really worked.

This may be because you don’t know your innate constitution and the effect it has on your wellbeing. Learn about yourself through Ayurveda and improve your physical and mental condition.


This workshop is for you to learn basic Ayurveda. You will find out about the ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet and behaviour that will help you to live long, and keep your mind, body and spirit happy, healthy and beautiful. You will also learn Ayurvedic daily leg massage and the use of special Ayurvedic oils for different constitutions.
