Gong Bath Meditation

Rest and Restore Mindfulness and Yoga Day

*When booked in conjunction with our Mindfulness and Yoga course in September, receive both the retreat day and course for £60.

This will be a day to deepen our meditative yoga practice. We will explore flowing movement; stillness within postures; poetry; breath awareness; journalling within the nurturing Santosha yoga studio.

The day will be an opportunity to investigate how silence can support our practice and we will provide a light vegan lunch and tea and homemade cake!

Fiona and jo look forward to sharing our favourite elements of our practice.

Using the mindfulness based practices of iRest Yoga Nidra and Systemic Family Constellation Mappping, we create a visual and emotional image of ourselves; allowing us to witness how our beliefs and experiences impact our our daily lives.

A dynamic dance of moving meditation taking you on a journey with a wave of sounds and music that reflects the elements.

Refine & Rewind

Saturday 11th November

This workshop provides an opportunity for students of all levels to dive deep into the musculature of refining yoga poses. Take a step out from the regular flow of a normal class and rewind back to the foundations of a pose.

A wide variety of pose categories will be covered from hip openers to inversions.

Refining poses help strengthen and lengthen the muscles and will support your practice with proper alignment.

Sunday De-Stress

The Sunday De-Stress Sessions, held monthly, are ideal for anyone needing to make time & space to reconnect with their bodies & still their minds. These deeply nurturing sessions will incorporate gentle movement, restorative yoga, breathing practices & guided meditation.

Incorporating practical anecdotes to combat the stresses of modern day life. Particularly beneficial if you are feeling tired, anxious, run-down or exhausted.

108 Sun Salutations for the New Year

108 Sun Salutations to welcome the New Year! The number 108 has many interpretations but has been a sacred number to Yoga and Hindu traditions for centuries. Mala beads contain 108 beads used to repeat a mantra 108 times. The number 108 is viewed as the wholeness of existence, in yoga there are 108 Upanishads and 108 Marma points; sacred places of the body.

In this workshop we will be creating a sun salutation mala. Including 108 rounds of Sun Salutations, using the repetition to cleanse the mind, body and self and invite your whole existence to be present in welcoming the new year.

Detox Yoga
