A day of self-love, self-acceptance and self-nourishment

Join Claire Murphy for this full day retreat where we will explore the concept of love as that which startswith ourselves. Using the archetype of Lord Krishna, the God of love as inspiration, we will explore the way we move, breath and express ourselves in the morning followed by a quieter practice involving yoga nidra, pranayama and self-reflection in the afternoon.

Suitable for all levels - a balanced day that will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and deeply appreciative of all you have to take back out into the world.

Structural Rebalancing with Yoga Alignment

Rebuild your posture from the ground up with this series of monthly workshops.

For the first three sessions, we will focus on the lower half of the body – learn the intricate details of your foot, knee and hip and how to care for each of these areas as you go about your practice and your life. Bringing deep awareness to each area in turn steadily leads to an improved posture, concentration and performance.

These classes are suitable for all levels and will help if you have long term or recurring issues with a particular areas including the following:

Hips: tight hips, lumbar spine issues, finding anatomical “neutral” pelvis and releasing tension and strengthening slackness to maintain neutral

Knowing Your Heart

Within yoga practice we focus on the heart, heart opening, listening to the heart, finding what truly lies in your heart.

But how much do you know about the heart? It is a truly awesome thing and does so much more than conduct blood around the body.

Come and learn more about the heart, the anatomy, embryology and some of the amazing facts about its function, also this workshop will help your understanding of prana and energy flow around the body.

Course outline:
2-2.45: Heart development, embryology, myth busting about circulation.
2.45-3.30: Asana
3.30-3.45 Break
3.45-4.30: Heart’s code, connective tissue structure, the body electric, light generation, prana.
4.30-5.00: Pranayama and meditation
