Theo Wildcroft

Over the past decade, I've explored various forms of body work,

including t'ai chi, kung fu, and reiki, as well as yoga styles from

classical to Astanga. I've also been graced with connections to

diverse spiritual teachers - from shamans to Taoists to druids. While

I never felt totally 'at home' in any single tradition, in my daily

practice I kept returning to yoga.

In 2007, when I found the Santosha Studio and through it Claire and

Anusara yoga, all those other spiritual lessons began to join up like

stars in a constellation. Now I would describe myself as an ascetic

pagan and a green and Tantric yogini...in other words, a wild and

wayward soul!

My yoga practice is deeply devotional, but joyous rather than serious,

both on and off the mat. In 2008, thanks to a very understanding

husband, I have spent more time in class and in workshops than in the

past decade. Beginning the journey as a yoga teacher is my way of

sharing the gifts of my teachers with others in our lovely Chippenham

yoga kula (community).

I like my classes to offer a little adventure and a lot of

self-nurturing. My aim is for students to leave with a smile, feeling

a little freer and more grounded than when they came in. I believe the

universe needs a little more compassion, joy and sparkle, and it is my

humble duty to help!
